WOW! today's been quite a roller coaster! I was able to sit up in the rocking chair for an hour WITH MY BRACE ON and it was pretty okay, not great, but definitely not horrible - for sure not as terrible as the first time they made me sit up today!!! Can you tell from looking at me standing next to Syd that I am three inches taller?
I am really, super tired now from sitting up and walking to the bathroom, so I am going back to bed now. Thank you to God for helping me today!I sure hope tomorrow will be better.

What a great picture of you and Sydney. It's amazing to see how much taller you are since the surgery ~ wow! I'll bet you're happy about that. What 'til your friends see you at church. They won't believe their eyes.
I'm glad to hear you're getting stronger, and soon you'll feel more comfortable... that's what we're all praying for.

Hang in there Sarah! You are so brave, and I am so proud of you. You look great in the newest picture Aunt Kim posted. I can't believe how much taller you are - you almost caught up with Sydney overnight! We all love you and continue to pray for you.

I know you've been really uncomfortable the past two days but I promise it will get better before you know it! You'll be so surprised at how God's miracle works and how fast your body bounces back once you've had a little time to recover. Enjoy your new CDs and DVD - I hope they'll take your mind off of the tough stuff.
You are so strong, you are really an inspiration, even to us grown-ups.

I've been out of town but had Jon keep me posted on your progress. I can't believe you're up moving around! And I really can't believe how beautiful you look after having such major surgery.
